Convention Contest Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.
BINDING AGREEMENT: In order to enter the Contest, you must agree to the Rules. Therefore, please read these Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes agreement to these Rules. You may not submit an entry to the Contest and are not eligible to receive the prize described in these Rules unless you agree to these Rules. These Rules form a binding legal agreement between you and Jen-Ken Kilns with respect to the Contest.
ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to enter the Contest, an Entrant must: (a) be a U.S. citizen or a permanent legal U.S. resident (i.e. must be able to show proof of permanent legal residence). Minors who enter must have the written consent of a parent or legal guardian in order to be eligible to receive any prize. Contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees, interns, contractors, and official office-holders of Jen-ken Kilns, and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, and agents (“Contest Entities”), and members of the Contest Entities’ and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners of each, regardless of where they live) and members of the households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers and directors as well its competitors and their employees, interns, contractors, and official office-holders, and parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners of each, regardless of where they live) and members of the households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers and directors are ineligible to participate in this Contest.
SPONSOR: The Contest is sponsored by Jen-Ken Kilns, a corporation with its principle place of business at 3615 Ventura Dr W, Lakeland, FL 33811.
Contest Period: The Contest begins on __________________, at (time) ___________ in the United States and ends on ____________________, (time)___________ (“Contest Period”). All times are subject to change.
HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. To enter the Contest, visit our booth #______ at the convention to fill out and submit one entry form. By entering the Contest, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Jen-ken kilns reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants. In the event that any entrant is disqualified from the Contest, Jen-ken in its sole discretion may decide whether a replacement should be selected. In this event, any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these Rules. Jen-Ken Kilns reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.
WINNER MUST BE PRESENT ON DAY OF DRAWING AT CONVENTION TO WIN: Winning entry will be drawn at 12:00pm on Sunday (Date) ____________. Winner will be notified via text and email, and will have one hour to respond back. Kiln must be picked up by winner at least one hour before close of convention. Winner must have valid i.d. to collect prize. Winner agrees to be photographed by Jen-Ken Kilns and will requested to take part in promotional activity. Jen-Ken Kilns will own all rights to any and all photographs and reserves the right to use the names, addresses and images of winner in any publicity both in paper and online.
PRIZE: The prize is one brand new JEN-KEN Vertical Air Bath Kiln! The prize non–transferable and there is no cash alternative. Jen-Ken Kilns reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time. The prize will be awarded at the discretion of Jen-Ken Kilns and no prize will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any entrant. Claim for the prize must be made in the manner and within the time specified in these Contest Rules. Failure to claim a prize within this time or in the manner specified may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Your entry and any information submitted by you must be personal to and relate specifically to you. You hereby warrant that your Entry and all information which you submit will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party.
LIABILITY – Jen-Ken Kilns cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Contest or as a result of accepting any prize. Jen-Ken Kilns is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation in the Contest. Nothing shall exclude Jen-Ken Kilns liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
